The "BASIC" Vacation
AVAILABLE TO ANY SIZE GROUP - 2 to 15 people with a minimum 2 nights stay. Rates per night - 2 to 6 people - $100.00 for the first couple - $25.00 for each additional person. Children 6 to 12 years of age - $12.50. 5 years and under - No Charge All cabin amenities included (Bring your own groceries). Canoe included. For use on site only unless other arrangements are made. Bring your own Personal Floatation Device (PFD). The fire pit at the cabin and the 6 km. of hiking trail are yours to enjoy. The "Esker Tour" ($200.00 per day) and the "Get Away From Home Tour" ($150.00 per day) can be included at extra cost. 7 persons, including children, are the maximum that can be accommodated on any of the tours.
********************************************************* The package rates are based on 4 adults for 2 nights. For an extra $30.00 per person you can have as many as 6 people in your tour group. Seven people, including children, are the maximum number that can be accommodated on any of the tours. Check-out is 3:00PM. All package rates are subject to taxes.
#1 The "Esker Trail Tour" Package Day 1 - You arrive at River Trail Country Vacations and get settled in. If there is time and you still have some energy you can take a hike on our 6 km of hiking trail.
Day 2 - We leave River Trail at about 9:00AM to take our Esker Trail Tour. The entire tour takes about 8 - 10 hours and at no time are we more than 75 km from River Trail. A complete description of the tour can be seen on our Editorial Page.
Day 3 - You wake up
late, have a leisurely coffee on the deck and after breakfast watch the wildlife
on, in and around the pond in front of the cabin or possibly take that hike you
may have missed on day 1.
The cost of this package separately for a party of 4 adults for a minimum 2 night stay would be $530.00 plus taxes. The package price is $480.00 plus taxes. You save $50.00. For an extra $30.00 per person you can have as many as 6 people in your group
#2 The "GET AWAY FROM HOME" Package Day 1 - You arrive at River Trail Country Vacations and get settled in. There is a canoe available for your use on the pond at River Trail (bring your own personal floatation device- e. g.: life jacket). Or you could take a hike on our 6 kilometres of hiking trail.
Day 2 - We leave River Trail at your convenience. We travel some of the roads and trails in the area. Or we can visit the Love Barn in the village of Love and Arts Of Boreal in Nipawin to view their large selection of locally made crafts and possibly purchase a few, continuing on to the Living Forestry Museum, also in Nipawin.
Day 3 - You wake up late, have a leisurely coffee on the deck and after breakfast watch the wildlife on, in and around the pond in front of the cabin or possibly take that hike you may have missed on day 1. Check-out at 3:00PM
The canoe and hiking trails are yours to use during your entire stay. The cost of this package separately for a party of 4 adults for a minimum 2 night stay would be $430.00 plus taxes. The package price is $400 plus taxes.
You save $30.00 #3 The "JUST RELAXING" Package Day 1 - You check-in at River Trail Country Vacations and unpack for your stay. You can have a guided tour of the premises and see some of the unusual items we have or you can wander around on your own. If you own Quads, bring them along and explore the bush trails in our area. Sit around a fire in the evening, listening to the night sounds and watching the Northern Lights
Day 2 - There is a list of things to see and do in the area and instructions are given on how to see or do them. There are 6 km of hiking trails for your pleasure and also a canoe for your use on the pond on site (bring your own life jackets). Or you can just sit on the deck and drink coffee, it's your holiday!! Day 3 - Check-out at 3:00PM. For this package you must have 7 to 15 people at regular rates. Your saving is 10 % off of your total bill.
#4 "THE HONEYMOONER" Package This package consists of:- 1 limo trip to and from the location of your choice-100 km (60 mi.) maximum, provided by B & M Limousine & DJ Services, Ridgedale, Sask.
At your private cabin:- Food for 2 self-prepared Continental Breakfasts. Flowers and candles. Wine - your choice of type.
The 1400 Square foot cabin is yours exclusively. With all the amenities of a private home, your stay will be comfortable and enjoyable. Groceries for your entire stay can be arranged before-hand at extra cost. Just provide an itemized list. The hiking trails , the canoe (bring your own PFD) and the fire pit are also there for you to enjoy if you choose to use them. Check-out at 3:00PM
Rates are variable depending on your requirements. Normal rates are $350.00 plus taxes for a 2 night stay for 2 people.
***** Your stay for all the above packages can be extended at regular rates less a small discount. Extra tours can also be arranged at extra cost. All packages must be booked and paid in full at least 30 days in advance. The "BASIC" Vacation requires a non-refundable 50% deposit at time of booking. Stand-by bookings will be accepted without deposits with 7 days notice of cabin availability. Full payment by credit card is required at time of booking. All package rates are subject to taxes.
